Alert Collaboration
Communication between customers and suppliers is the key to make things right regarding the delivery time or the reaction time when events happen. With the Network Collaboration project, riskmethods provides the easy way for the customers to reach out to their suppliers with just one click and the response can be easily stored in the system for tracking and documentation purpose.

My Role
Design Lead
Communication between customers and suppliers is the key to delivery on time. With a simple click, companies could be connected when some irruptions happened unexpectedly. As the lead UX designer, I led the team going through the design process from user research to usability testing. The interface design was also done accordingly.

LEAN UX CANVAS
Network collaboration is a completely new topic that riskmethods is working on. This Lean UX canvas helps us to have an overview of the project vision and better understanding of the projects in order to work on it further.

DISCOVER
User discovery interview was conducted in the early phase of the project in order to define the problem and to find the needs from the users. From the interview, we got to know the problems and the expectations that the users have. By clustering the problems from different customers, the internal brainstorming section was done in order to come up with the potential solutions. The discovery phase of the project took 2 months and the first draft of the wireframe was done afterwards.

CREATE
The hand drawing was the result from the discovery section and it was the base of the first wireframe made in Basamiq. With the wireframe we had the internal testing to find the better way of presenting the information and interacting with the application. The design iteration started based on the feedback. By improving the visual design and interaction design, the final look and feel of the project was decided after 5 usability testing with the customers.

ITERATION
At the end of the implementation, the internal and external usability testing was conducted. The testing is very important for us in order to know whether the new design fits the requirements of the users and to further understand how to continue with the second phase of the project.
Due to the fact that It’s not so easy to contact the real users in B2B business, the design iteration doesn’t happen as often as it should be. Some critical CTAs and interaction are discussed and changed after the usability testing and will continue to test the crucial parts of the application as early as possible in the future.
