My Role
UX Designer
There are in total 10 different kinds of emails sent from riskmethods. Alert email is the most crucial one. Most of the users only read the alert email to get the most relevant information for them regarding their suppliers. However, the open rate of the alert email is low. Because of that, we chose alert email as the start of this project to not only increase the open rate of the alert email but also create an email template with a better structure to make our customers happier with the emails they receive.
In this project, the research period took more than 3 months. Since riskmethods is B2B company, it is not easy to contact the end users. Therefore, the online surveys were conducted to collect as many feedback as possible and the A/B testing was done afterward with some volunteer-users to collected their direct feedback. Combining the quantitative data and qualitative data I came up with the final email design with the most important information that the users are asking for in the end.
ONLINE SURVEY

A/B TESTING
After having the quantitative data from around 300 users, two versions of email redesign were ready for the A/B testing from volunteer-users. The direct feedback was collected from 9 users and the final email template was decided afterward.

EMAIL TEMPLATE
The end goal of this project is to create an email template for all kinds of email send from riskmethods. Since alert email is the most important one, we did the research based on that and came up with the email template for all emails.
